Thought is Power"Those who manipulate the organized habits and opinions of the masses constitute an invisible government which is the true ruling power of our country." — Edward Bernays.Thought is Power by Lily-Bo-Billy
Thought. Intellect is one of the most dangerous weapons an individual could take advantage of. Common man becomes who they are via thought. If that is absent, one is but the decoration of a person, serving no purpose to society. They are living, but are they alive? Adversely, what would someone be with a mind but no body? They would be the core of a person but would not have the acting area to achieve an idea, or would not have a foundation to work towards a goal or a creation.
What it all comes down to is this: Thought is free. Thought is our ambition to achieve. Thought shapes the world like skilled hands with clay. Thought is owned exclusively by those who yearn for success. Thought is power.
Our Long Distance LoveMy love,Our Long Distance Love by KrazyKernal
Though I may cry and though I may weep;
I know you may be far but in my heart I shall keep.
Thoughts of you have made my days bright;
I wish to kiss your lips and hold you tight.
I know, at times, I can be hard to understand;
With all of the wonderful things I know is at hand..
Why should I let tears fall from my face?
Why not a smile to wear in their place?
Because I need you here and in my arms;
Because I know in your love, I shall never no harm.
Because as I lie in bed these countless nights;
I wish and I pray that I could take flight.
Over the miles that come between;
Over the fields and across every stream.
That I could rest soundly within your space;
Gaze into your eyes and caress your face.
Whisper my love into your ear;
Tell you all of the words I've wanted you to hear.
But then I awake, alone in my bed;
Thoughts, all of you, running through my head.
I know that someday my dreams will come true;
I wish and I pray that "someday" will be soon.
You are my one and only, lo
Long. Distance. Romance.The distance may be great.Long. Distance. Romance. by Hadassah-Kiyoshi
And all we have is the phone.
We may stay up extremely late,
But we know our fate is full known.
Because I love you and you love me.
I know we'll be together again soon.
Being with you is all I think about, baby.
And fate still rings that beautiful tune.
I get butterflies in my stomach,
Just at the mere thought of you.
You know, you left me awestruck?
But texting or talking will have to make-do.
And I'll also keep dreaming of us,
Until we can see each other again.
I'll always love you forever, I promise.
Distance may be great, but it can't win.
The Day the Clocks Stopped CountingThe Day the Clocks Stopped CountingThe Day the Clocks Stopped Counting by chasehoward

War is through, for what it’s worth,
Nothing left to fight about.
Peace coats the face of the Earth
With craters, ruins, bodies, and fall-out.
We fought until the last man stood,
and fought some more for good measure.
People doing what they thought good,
but the good that they fought for was treasure.
The first white flashes, dropped from the sky,
Made us cower in our shelters,
Watching as the time ticked by,
Waiting as the moments passed.
Some cried, some prayed,
Some left, some stayed
But stay or leave, it’s all the same
Life is just a finite game.
And all man’s work, all amounting
to nothing, the day the clocks stopped counting.
|Hey there! Thanks for visiting. I haven't been here for a long, long time. It may take a while to get used to it again. Mostly this is for any poems I've wrote, and maybe a bit of photography, but it's a little up in the air.|
